The INDEX records all the words that appear in the inscriptions, each word being listed once. It is compiled automatically.
The numeral in the blue circle indicates the number of occurrences of each word. Click on this circle to display the list of inscription(s) in which the word occurs. If you want to see any of these inscriptions, click on the symbol (horizontal lines) to the left of the inscription number.
If the word was translated by the editors, the translation appears under the word category*; if the word was commented by the editors, the comment is displayed by clicking on the speech bubble that appears at the top of the list of inscriptions.
CAUTION:
– If a word appears in red, it means it is uncertain. Click on the word to show the editorial signs;
– Search facility is case-sensitive. Use only lowercase characters. A slash “/” indicates alternative readings between two letters;
– When searching for a word, editorial sigla should not be written because they are ignored in the index. E.g. to find “{m}lk[w]”, search for “mlkw”.
