The stone was discovered by H.St.J.B Philby on his visit to Ruwāfa in 1951 and was seen and photographed by Parr, Lankester Harding and Dayton (PSNWA(a)p. 217; PSNWA(b) p. 57, pl. 31).

This is the reading as given in MIR.
The stone bears two tabulae ansatae. The upper one has been almost entirely destroyed by a large round hole (PSNWA(a) p. 217, pl. 20; PSNWA(b) p. 31; ISAA p. 93). The inscription on the lower one has been almost entirely effaced, with only a few scattered Nabataean letters still visible.
